The Cabestan segmentation engine can be customised to suit clients' requirements - both B-to-B and B-to-C.
Segmentation can be carried out on the basis of e.g. profile fields, results from one or more campaigns already run, web page views, customer purchasing profile, behavioural data, the commercial pressure exercised, behaviour history or declarative, behavioural or transactional data.
The segmentation engine is capable of creating complex segments, e.g. "has bought x products in x stores during the past x days", "has not responded for the past x days but received x email campaigns from ../.. /.. to ../../.. ", "has viewed such-and-such web page x times", "has bought such-and-such product in such-and-such store".
